Sematic Lift Doors for Shanghai World Expo

The World Expo in Shanghai, China, is going to be the biggest in the World history. During the six months during which the Expo will be open it is expected to draw about 70 million visitors. One of its main attractions is the Italian Pavilion which offers a rich display of Italy’s excellence in different sectors, contributing to an improvement of the quality of urban areas ranging from engineering, urban development and architectural design up to technological innovation, infrastructures as well as urban and vertical mobility.
The Pavilion features 7 elevators and 2 escalators, which allow the visitors to admire comfortably the exhibiting spaces situated on different levels. Thanks to its high quality performance products, Sematic Group has been chosen by Tecno to supply, for all the elevators installed in the Pavilion, its multipurpose car & landing 2000 B-AP lift doors, which are specifically designed for the Asian Pacific market, and feature central opening, hairline finishes, full glass or steel panels.
