THE HISTORY

1948 Ermenegildo Verri a ship decorator and master draughtsman starts producing elevator cabins in Milan.

1954 His son Vittorio enters the Company and the company "Verri Ermenegildo di Verri Vittorio & C." started on.

1972 A good working relationship is established with "Liftmaterial Diemand & Neumann KG", which later becomes LM Liftmaterial .

1978 Introduction of the cabin door fixing system on inclined surfaces.

1981 First supply of cabins to Schindler Deutschland.

1983 Construction of panoramic cabins for the CIGA hotels.

1984 The Company's management introduces the third generation.

1989 The costruction for the Far East of high quality cabins begins (with air conditioning units and bullet-proof glasses), together with the construction of a special cabin for the Rome Head-Quarters of the Banca d'Italia.

1995 In collaboration with Schindler the production of cabins for naval application begins. Cruise-ship "Sun Princess" by architect Mr. Brendan Really from Oslo.

2000 Sematic takes control of Verri srl.

2001 Orders for panoramic cabins for naval application.Cruise-ship "Carnival Zuiderman" by architect Dingemans VFD from Utrecht..

2003 The company moves to Suisio (Bergamo) near Sematic Italia Spa.

2004 Verri complements its production range by adding slings and steel works for elevators.
