THE HISTORY 1991 Paolo and Ugo Lagi establish “Computec”. The company has always been involved in the electronics and data processing. It designs and produces electronic cards for industry, at the same time offering services and products for the data processing market.
1993 Computec and Sematic begin their cooperation aiming to the development and studying of drives specifically to monitor the elevator car door motors.
1996 A new laboratory for EMC tests is equipped. This allows the company to increase its operation activities: besides offering a test service to the customers, Computec srl improves its know how and the quality of its products.
1998 Sematic Italia spa participates in Computec srl and this creates new development perspectives.
 2001 Computec srl moves to the new 1000 sq. m. purpose built production facility.
2003 A new automatic line for the production of surface mounted cards (SMT).
2006 A new AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) system is installed to board inspection. The SMT line is upgraded from 14.000CPH up to 50.000CPH and reaches the 0201 technology.
