 | QUALITY & ENVIRONMENT INTEGRATED SYSTEM POLICY |   | In order to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of their own Systems, the General Management of Sematic Italia S.p.A. has chosen of unify the Quality and Environment Systems. The begin of this process is the definition of a single Policy that includes the guide lines of both the international standards: ISO 9001:2000 e ISO 14001:2004.The Sematic Italia General Management believe that the evolution of his own Quality System in respect to the ISO 9001:2000 standard is the occasion for formalize and regulate the continuous improvement process and the customer satisfaction that was already applied on the actual System.
Our Management is well aware that the natural resources are not unlimited and therefore wants to act personally to safeguard a common heritage which belongs to everyone: the Nature.
To the internal of range of their own integrated System activities, and in accordance with the above reported minds, Sematic Italia establish the following remarks:
1. Continuous improvement of their own Integrated Management System to reach the targets defined in accordance to the present Policy;
2. Obtain the customer satisfaction through the respect of their requests and the research and the exceeding of their expectations;
3. Establish with his own customers and suppliers, a partnership and mutual benefit in order to consolidate the leadership positions in the markets where Sematic is present;
4. Guarantee the conformity to the standards for their own products and processes. In particular:
• Conformity of products to the Lift Directive 95/16 EU;
• Conformity of processes to the EU, national and local laws which apply to its own environmental aspects.
5. Increase the quality of technical support before and after sales, applied by the increase of customer partnership and through the develop of specific team that supply technical assistance on-site and/or by phone;
6.Increase the quality of products and processes by a technical/production and sales effort oriented to the prevention than the correction of non conformity.
7. Sematic undertakes to continuously better its own Environment standards with the aim of reducing the impact its activity has on Environment; and more specifically it undertakes :
• to reduce pollution to the minimum degree;
• to diminish the energy consumption;
• to optimize the production debris;
• to use machinery with low Environment impact and to keep it updated;
The General Management between a defined budget range, undertakes available the necessary resources to reach the targets defined according to the above mentioned guidelines.
The General Management charges the Integrated Management System Responsible to communicate the mission of present Policy to all people who work for the Organization of on its behalf. It must be assure that the Policy will understood to all levels and issued by adequate communication channels.
Please refer to the specific Operative instruction the establishment of rules as to this Policy and, consequently, its relevant aims are going to be renewed, according to the international standards requirements.
