By reaching reaction times in the range of milliseconds, brushless systems offer an extremely high performance while the traditional AC/DC motor systems are limited by their inherent inertia characteristics. The superior performance of a brushless motor now places the dynamic limit of the system upon the mechanics being driven and the Sematic® mechanisms have proven to be able to withstand these new demands.
