Supply from 1996 to 2004 Replaced by SDS DC-PWM rel. 3  The Sematic Encoder System© drive offers: technology, reliability, easy installation and low maintenance costs. The System consists of an electronic card with micropocessor and feedback activated DC motor with Encoder. The Sematic Encoder System© operates the opening and the closing of the lift doors automatically by monitoring: timing, fluxes, speeds, safety systems and failures. The control feature is called “4 quadrants-control”. This means that during all movements of the opening or closing cycle the operation of the Sematic Encoder System© maintains the torque and the angular velocity of the motor (w); this way the set speed profile is always followed (see drawings) An Optional extra for the Sematic Encoder System© is the “Handset”. An electronic tool with a display that allows the engineer to visualize and change the pre-set parameters of the controller even from inside the lift cabin.
