 |  | Product quality is one of the main prerogatives of the Sematic group. Together with our strength and reliability objectives, constantly tested on used components, Sematic have always worked hard in satisfying the normative and safety requirements, indicated in the Lift Directive 95/16/CE and in the harmonised standards supporting it (EN81-1/2:1998, EN12015:1998 and EN12016:1998). For example, our support carriage rollers have been submitted to continuous-cycle tests for 10 weeks, effecting more than 50,000,000 complete revolutions with a load of 75 Kg. The glass panels satisfy the requirements of the EN81 Standard, which concerns strength (tested with pendulum shock test according to norm EN81-1/2: 1998 - Annex J or to prEN12600: 1999) and with the reduction of children’s hands dragging risk, according the points 7.2.3.6 and 8.6.7.5). For the safety component “Car door locking device”, Sematic has achieved the approval of its Quality System as per the Annex IX (Module H) of the Lift Directive. This important acknowledgement confirms the capability of the Sematic organisation in projecting, producing and testing, accomplished with the care and devotion shown in more than 40 years activity in this field.
