| 3.B. all connections are securely made; | [ ] |
| 3.C. check that the motor has no short-circuit: for checking this item, connect a tester to the motor’s A and B terminals and ensure the resistance is greater than 0 (Ohm). | Resistance

| 4. check that all connections between the Door Controller and the Main Lift Controller (the 14 pin connecting block) have been made according to the wiring diagram instructions, and that: | |
| 4.A. no cables are earthed; | [ ] |
| 4.B. all connections are securely made; | [ ] |
| 4.C. all contacts (except 1-2-4-16-17-18-19) are voltage free. | [ ] |
| 5. disconnect the Encoder Door Controller from the Main Lift Controller (unplug the 14 pin connecting block) and then apply power supply to the system. | |
| 6. WARNING! Check all transformer wires are securely made: 230 Vac (connections 0 - 230 on the transformer) or 110 Vac (connections 0 - 110 on the transformer) incoming power and 32 Vac output power; | Input Vac:

| 7. make the self-learning cycle; should the installation have doors with different TB, then operate from the door with the smallest TB (warning:the self learning cycle is not the reset cycle); see notes below on how to make the self-learning cycle; |

| 8.Operate the door opening and closing by means of the small switch on the controller or by means of the keypad; if in these conditions the system runs correctly the Door Controller is not defective and the problem lies with the Main Lift Controller signals or its connections; |

| Note on How to make the SELF-LEARNING CYCLE: |
Self learning cycle activated by the Sematic Encoder System© Door Controller.(you can perform this with or without landing door coupled)
 Note: in case of car door lock and landing door not coupled with the car doors, use the special helping tool.
A. connect the handset to the Door Controller using the wire supplied ; wait until a complete opening or closing cycle is made by the door, on the handset will be displayed the words “CONNECTION OK” [the first time the handset is connected and 3 minutes after the last connection it is possible to "CHOOSE LANGUAGE” (ITA=1, GB=2, D=3)] ;
B. repeatedly press key 8 until the “activate self learning cycle” appears on the display ;
C. press key 5 to activate the self learning cycle ;
D. press keys 9 and 7 to activate respectively the opening and closing cycles (refer now to steps C and D of “Self learning cycle activated by the Door Controller”).
